H1 - HS2D Site General Arrangement Drawings (SGAD)

The SGAD provides information about the HS2D Configuration: HS2D Components assembly and routing of piping. In order to provide this option, SERGI needs to receive the drawings: transformer, plant layout, and ground or wall-mounted supports for the piping; including the technical specifications.

• Standard HS2D SGAD: It includes the global views (minimum 3 views), electrical clearance verification, the required interfaces detail pages and the piping details pages.
• Simplified HS2D SGAD: It includes the global views (minimum 3 views), electrical clearance verification, the required interfaces detail pages. The 3D model of the transformer/substation is modeled in a simple way (cubic).
• Advanced HS2D SGAD: It includes the global views (minimum 3 views), electrical clearance verification, the required interfaces detail pages and the piping details pages. Support detail pages and static loads calculation.

The HS2D Installation Supervision is provided by a SERGI Project Engineer or by an Accredited Engineer; with this service, the client will::

• Receive detailed guidance about the HS2D components placement and testing;
• Accomplish a faster installation exactly as per the HS2D Specifications;
• Prevent the installation to be refused by SERGI.
The number of supervision days varies according to the project and resources.

H6 - HS2D Simulation Report

The HS2D Simulation Report provides the depressurization response of the HS2D system using the SERGI developed computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software. The results also include the effect of the internal arcing without the HS2D system.
However, the following additional information will be necessary to agreed before completing the task:

• Detailed descriptions of the exterior geometry of the transformer tank.
• Detailed descriptions of the interior geometry of the transformer tank, particularly the dimensions associated with the windings and core.
• Full transformer nameplate, including the maximum symmetric short circuit current.
• Short Circuit Energy, Position and Duration.

O1 - Isolation Valve*

An Isolation Valve can be integrated into the HS2D discharge line to isolate the Depressurization Set during maintenance operations. This option might reduce transformer outage duration by allowing maintenance or rupture disk replacement without requiring complete oil draining and refilling.
The Isolation Valve can be equipped with Position Sensors allowing the monitoring system to detect the position of the valve. A Padlocking System can also be provided to mechanically lock the Isolation Valve in the desired position (open or closed).

O2 - Automatic Fire Detection System

An Automatic Fire Detection (AFD) system can be integrated to detect abnormal temperature rise and/or presence of fire around the protected transformer. This option provides early warning capabilities to support rapid operator response and reduce the risk of fire escalation and collateral damage

O3-1 – Trigger for Inert Gas Injection

The replacement of the Automatic Electromagnetic Trigger is possible by one of the following options:
• Automatic Electromagnetic/Manual Trigger for Inert Gas Injection: The inert gas injection can be activated automatically and manually from the Monitoring panel or manually from the IGIS Cabinet.
• Manual Trigger on Monitoring panel for Inert Gas Injection: The inert gas injection can only be activated manually by operator from the Monitoring panel.
• Manual Trigger on IGIS Cabinet for Inert Gas Injection: The inert gas injection can only be activated directly from the IGIS Cabinet.

The Inert Gas Injection Set isolation from transformer is used for isolating the inert gas injection pipe from the transformer.
• Manual Valve: It is always in open position during IGIS standby operation.
• Manual Valve with Position Indicator: allowing the monitoring system to know the status of the Manual Valve. It is always in open position during normal transformer operation.
• Automatic Valve: When the HS2D operates, the valve will automatically open allowing inert gas injection onto the transformer, OLTC, OCB, BT. It is always in closed position during normal transformer operation.
